Activities! Banff National Park and Banff Springs

Banff Springs is located in Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Canada’s oldest national park established in 1885 as Rocky Mountains Park. The park spans 6641 square kilometres (2564 square miles) of mountainous terrain in the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies.   Venture outside the town of Banff and visit the surrounding beauty of the National Park.  Day excursions offered through the Banff Springs concierge 1-403-762-2211, their activity centre or outside touring companies, such as https://www.viator.com/Banff/ can bring you closer to nature and the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies.

Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Canmore, the Banff Gondola Ride and multiple hiking and rafting tours are a few options to consider when touring the surrounding area.  Excursions range from the family friendly walks in Lake Louise, to wildlife photo tours, to more adventurous Mountain biking and white-water rafting.

If you decide you would prefer to stay closer to Banff Springs, the hotel offers a variety of relaxing activities.  Spend the morning golfing and the afternoon at the world-famous spa. Hiking, yoga and fitness classes are available daily, and family friendly smores campfires, scavenger hunts and historic walks through the hotel can be arranged.  A link to the activities centre booking tool will be available in early September to help plan your stay.
