2020 and 2021 Evaluation and Management Coding Update

In this three-hour session, delivered live via webinar, Sarah Wiskerchen, MBA, CPC will cover:

  • E/M “1.0” – Recap of E/M level and category criteria that apply in 2020, and will still be used for selected E/M services in 2021
  • E/M “2.0” – In depth review of E/M criteria changes that will apply in 2021
  • Comparison of 2020 and 2021 E/M coding systems using musculoskeletal tumor examples

The session includes a resource workbook that will be shipped to registrants in advance of the webinar.  This live session includes interactive time for questions and answers.

Sarah Wiskerchen, MBA, CPC of KarenZupko & Associates, Inc.  presents on CPT and ICD-10 coding for the AAOS national workshop series.  State specialty societies, physical therapy firms and large musculoskeletal groups have invited Sarah to educate physicians and staff.  She is actively working with her orthopaedic clients to prepare for the 2021 E/M coding and documentation requirements. 

In addition to coding education, Sarah’s consulting projects include E/M and surgical auditing, overall practice evaluations, and redesigning billing processes for increased collection effectiveness.
