Grant Recipients Announced

MSTS and the Research Committee, led by Chair Dr. Bang Hoang, are pleased to congratulate the recipients of the 2024 Sarcoma Strong awards  

 

New in 2024, the Sarcoma Strong Career Catalyst Award ($100,000 over a two-year period) was received by: 

  • Dr. Julia Visgauss, of Duke University for her research titled: Investigating drivers and therapeutic approaches for LCP1 overexpression in chondrosarcoma

 

 The 2024 Sarcoma Strong Mentored Research Award ($25,000) was received by: 

  • Dr. Zachary Burke of Cleveland Clinic for his research titled: Clonal profiling of MAP resistant osteosarcoma to inform evolutionary guided treatment strategies 

 Congratulations to both of these distinguished MSTS members on their outstanding research projects!
